Sound familiar?

The textbook and curriculum are a frame, not a verdict

Lessons can be lively within these limits too. Here is what teachers most often come to us with.

The lesson follows the textbook, but the students stay silent

The exercises get done, but only a few students manage to speak English in the lesson.

You want communicative lessons without giving up the textbook

The textbook and curriculum are fixed — you need a way to work with them differently.

There was a training, but little changed in the classroom

A one-off course introduces techniques, but it is often hard to transfer them to everyday classes.

Nobody sees your lesson from the outside

Without honest feedback it is hard to know what exactly to change tomorrow.

Stages and price

Two stages: learn it, then use it in your classroom

First a practical methodology course, then mentoring in your own classroom. The price is calculated per hour: 1 540 UAH/hour.

Programme model

The programme cycle: from knowing to doing

The goal is to move from knowing about communicative teaching to confidently using it in your everyday classroom.

  1. 1

    Learn

Experience the technique as a learner: the tutor demonstrates it in a live lesson.

  2. 2

    Observe

Analyse what you saw and understand why it works.

  3. 3

    Plan

Write a lesson plan based on your own coursebook.

  4. 4

    Teach

First teach parts of lessons on the course, then a lesson in your own class.

  5. 5

    Receive feedback

The tutor or mentor discusses what worked and what to change.

  6. 6

    Apply and improve

You bring the techniques into work with your students and choose one or two changes for the next lesson — and the cycle starts again.

Programme

Stage 1: six sessions of practical methodology

16 hours in total: 12 hours of input and 4 hours of teaching practice and feedback. Each topic follows a cycle: input, tutor demonstration, planning, teaching practice, feedback, reflection.

  • Main contentLesson structure; presenting, checking and practising vocabulary; communicative vocabulary tasks.
  • Practical outputTutor demonstration, then trainees plan a vocabulary lesson.

Mentoring

Stage 2: mentoring in your own classroom

Mentor and teacher discussing a lesson plan

1. Lesson plan discussion

You prepare a plan for your real class, and the mentor helps you improve it.

  • Clarify lesson aims
  • Improve lesson staging
  • Make activities more communicative
  • Anticipate potential difficulties
  • Adapt tasks to your students' level and classroom context

Outcomes

Changes for the teacher and for the school

You do not have to abandon your existing textbooks or curriculum: you learn to use the materials you already have in a more communicative and engaging way.

Confident teacher with a set of activities

After the practical course

  • Experience planning and teaching communicative lessons
  • Professional feedback on your own teaching

Why it is different

Training which raises the effectiveness of your lessons

A one-off teacher-training course can introduce new techniques, but teachers often find it difficult to transfer them to their everyday classrooms. That is why mentoring follows the training: the programme is not simply about learning a methodology, it is about changing classroom practice.

Practical rather than theoretical

The programme prioritises classroom techniques and practical application over extensive methodology theory.
