IHCYLT: teaching English to children and teenagers

An 80-hour teacher training course for working with learners aged 6 to 16. Developed and standardised by the International House World Organisation, and delivered and assessed jointly by the IHWO Assessment Unit and Cambridge Assessment English.

IHCYLT is

an international qualification for teachers who want to work with children and teenagers aged 6 to 16

This 80-hour teacher training course combines methodology, practical micro-lessons, observation and a portfolio of real tasks. The programme was developed and standardised by the International House World Organisation, and is delivered and assessed jointly with the IHWO Assessment Unit and Cambridge Assessment English. After successfully completing the course, you receive an International House CYLT diploma with a Pass or Distinction.

    Submit the Pre-interview task

    Download the IHCYLT Pre-interview task and send it to tt@ihkyiv.com with the subject “IHCYLT”.

    Attend the interview

    A 20-minute Zoom interview with the course trainer.

  4. 4

    Pay for the course

    The full amount or an agreed payment schedule.

  5. 5

    Prepare to start

    Complete the Pre-interview task and receive the materials before the first day of the course.
