Who is Module 1 for?

DELTA Module One — це іспит,

that you prepare for and take at an accredited center, after which you receive a certificate from Cambridge

The first module focuses on the fundamentals of teaching and learning English in various contexts. This module is typically taken to expand theoretical knowledge and gain deeper understanding of language teaching methodologies and strategies, student needs analysis and language learning difficulties, educational resources and materials, assessment and testing.

Preparation Course

We offer a DELTA Module One preparation course at our center:

Assessment system

The exam consists of two written tasks

of 90 minutes each with a 30-minute break between them. Conducted at an accredited Cambridge Assessment English center twice a year — in June and December.

Criteria for DELTA Module 1 course candidates:

English proficiency at C1 or C2 level

Theoretical knowledge of teaching methodology

Practical teaching experience of at least 1 year

CELTA certificate recommended

Course Description:

The preparation course consists of 8 units

— Provides a solid theoretical foundation and immediately allows its practical application
— Focuses on principles and techniques of lesson planning and delivery
— Consists of trainer input sessions, lesson delivery, feedback reception, and assignment writing
— Helps teachers improve their own methodology: master new approaches, focus on student needs, adapt materials, analyze lessons, conduct research, and provide reasoned justification for pedagogical technique choices

Who is Module 2 For?

DELTA Module 2 is a 200-hour program

that combines a strong theoretical foundation with opportunities for practical application of knowledge.

The program includes lectures from trainers, lesson delivery, feedback, and academic writing. This course will help you as an educator improve your teaching practice, master new methods and approaches, focus on student needs, adapt learning materials, analyze pedagogical activities, conduct research, and scientifically justify various teaching techniques.

This module focuses on the principles and practice of lesson planning and delivery.

Assessment System

DELTA Module Two assessment takes place during training

at an accredited center through lesson delivery (LSA) and written assignments and essays.

LSA (Language Systems/Skills Assignment) is a lesson with a specific focus that can target the development of language skills (Speaking, Listening, Writing, Reading) or work on systems (Grammar, Lexis, Phonology, Discourse). During the course, you deliver 4 lessons of 45-60 minutes, three of which are assessed by course trainers, and the fourth by an independent external Cambridge Assessor.

Preparing for each lesson, you must conduct research and write a 2,500-word assignment (background essay) that becomes the foundation for delivering a lesson developing a specific skill or ability, as well as prepare a detailed lesson plan.

After delivering the lesson, you conduct an analysis of your activity, identifying your strengths and weaknesses, the results of your actions, and proposing ideas for further improvement.
During the course, you must also write a Professional Development Assignment consisting of two written works:

Reflection & Action (2000–2500 слів)

Experimental Practice (1500–2000 слів)

Who is Module 3 For?

DELTA Module 3 is

a dissertation completed without time restrictions.

This module is intended for candidates with significant teaching experience who are ready to create a training course according to student needs or conduct in-depth research in academic management.

Candidates planning to take DELTA Module Three can choose one of two specializations — ELT Specialism or ELT Management Specialism.

You have the option to complete the work independently and only submit it through our center, or use the services of our specialists who provide support at all stages: from topic determination to work submission to Cambridge

ELT Specialism

In-depth practice and specialization in English language teaching

This module focuses on researching student needs, creating curricula, planning and evaluating courses within your chosen specialization.

Research in specialized fields

Creating curricula and educational programs to meet student needs in the specific context of the chosen specialization

Course development and advancement in the specific context of the chosen specialization

Principles and practice of testing and assessment and their application in the candidate's specialized field

This module focuses on situational analysis, planning, and implementing changes within the chosen specialization.

Assessment System

Module 3 is an extended written assignment

f 4,000-4,500 words excluding appendices. Your work will be evaluated by a team of Cambridge examiners under the supervision of a chief examiner.

Additionally, all works are checked for plagiarism, so approaching the writing process must be responsible and conscious.

Works are submitted through an accredited Cambridge Assessment English center twice a year — in winter and summer.

In the first option, assessment focuses on the specialized area of teaching and learning chosen by the candidate (for example, English for academic purposes, exam preparation, young learners, individual instruction, etc.).

In the second option, candidates conduct research in their chosen area of management in English language teaching: academic management, HR, customer service, marketing.
