Teachers in the network have the opportunity to continuously improve their qualifications and move from country to country, gaining experience in different schools. The international organization International House annually teaches foreign languages to more than 200,000 students worldwide, and conducts various professional training programs for hundreds of thousands of teachers. In 2025, IHWO celebrates its 72nd anniversary.
International House Kyiv is the first international language school in Ukraine, which was established in 1992 by the International Renaissance Foundation, and in 1993 was affiliated with the International House World Organization. For more than 30 years in a row, the school has been the only official representative of IHWO in Kyiv, helping thousands of Ukrainians grow professionally, develop the economy of independent Ukraine, and integrate into the global educational and business space. Since 2005, IH Kyiv became the first Cambridge Centre in Ukraine for English language teacher retraining, this was the year of implementing international standards into the language education system in our country. Since then and to this day, we actively share our experience both in Ukraine and abroad, we are proud that most of our graduates have created their own similar schools and work inspiringly in various corners of our country and abroad, helping their clients explore the world, gain education and develop our state.
