Students often face problems with creative writing that can be summarized as "I don't know what to write".
In my experience, this can be addressed by brainstorming in pairs or groups of three, starting with describing a topic picture.
This session will focus on teaching writing strategies like collaborative writing, brainstorming and taking roles in groups.
A session to raise your awareness of spoken language focusing on not what you say, but how you say it!
- How can we stimulate learners' imagination and encourage them to use English both expressively and creatively?
- How can we practise language taught (e.g.: structures and vocabulary) and of course, to foster greater awareness of and accuracy in different aspects of pronunciation including intonation, stress, rhythm and pace?
- And how can we have fun while doing all this?
Drama in class is the solution! We are going to take a look at some practical ideas of using drama in class.
The webinar explores the importance of bottom-up processing in listening comprehension, examines particular sub-skills, highlights the challenges faced by learners and practical strategies for integrating these techniques to second language listening
