IH MCT Module 1: IH MCT Basics in Teaching Vocabulary and Grammar
The first basic module of the course focuses on the techniques for teaching grammar and vocabulary. The course participants get a better understanding of strategies for successful lessons while teaching grammar and lexis, ways of presenting unknown vocabulary and grammar and tips for language practice. The programme also includes introducing course participants to a variety of teaching methods and approaches (e.g. Test-Teach-Test, Guided Discovery etc. )
IH MCT Module 2: IH MCT Basics in Teaching Listening and Reading
The second part of the course is aimed at familiarizing course participants with lesson stages while teaching reading and listening lessons as well as techniques for teaching reading and listening sub-skills. The course demonstrates various interactive tasks while working with texts at different stages of the lesson as well as techniques for adapting coursebooks.
IH MCT Module 3: IH MCT Basics in Teaching Speaking and Writing
The third part of the Basics in Teaching course concentrates on techniques for teaching speaking and writing.
Course participants get familiarized with various activities that lead to development of accuracy and fluency in speaking and writing. The course also covers ways of correcting students’ errors both in writing and speaking.
IH MCT Module 4 Basics in Teaching Young Learners Face-to-face
This course aims at deepening participants’ understanding of teaching principles for different age groups and strategies for successful lessons that best meet the needs of various age groups (6-13 years old). The course covers principles for selecting effective coursebooks, adapting appropriate lesson materials, as well as ways of developing essential language skills (reading/listening/speaking/writing).

The course focuses on how to deal with teens in a classroom and plan lessons to keep teens motivated and engaged. Course participants will be discussing issues related to effective classroom management, motivating teenagers as well as ways of developing language systems (grammar;vocabulary) and language skills (reading/listening/writing/speaking) when structuring lessons for teens.

The course covers a variety of assessment tools and principles behind test-building. It introduces participants to types of exam tasks and principles behind teaching successful strategies to students who are planning to take Cambridge exams and ZNO.

The course introduces participants to the structure of the IELTS exam and types of IELTS exam tasks. Course participants will be provided with opportunities to experience IELTS tasks on their own and analyse them. They will be provided with tips and techniques for successful candidates and setting up effective exam preparation lessons.
✅IH MCT Module 6 Basics in setting up your summer camps
This module talks about issues you need to think about when setting up a summer camp in your school, how to deal with parents, mix students up and deal with mixed -ability and mixed-aged groups. Course participants will get familiarized with topics for summer camps as well as Team-building Games, Icebreakers/Warmers, Project Work and Drama activities. By the end of the course, the participants will have designed an individual course programme for a summer camp at their school.

A fully practical course aims at expanding a bank of activities while working with non-traditional teaching resources – films and cartoons, arts and crafts, stories and poems, dice, playing cards, board games etc. The course also introduces participants to the principles of teaching with minimum or no materials and ways of developing creative and critical thinking.

The course gets participants familiarized with strategies for mixed-ability classes and ‘signs’ of various learning difficulties.The participants will also experience a range of teaching methods that facilitate a learning process for
